We created the Safe Surrender program to give a mother, no matter what the situation, a safe, secure and anonymous way to get her child into safe hands and to protect a baby from abandonment: No shame, No blame, and No names. So far, in Los Angeles County, we have been able to save the lives of 103 infants. I am confident this PSA will help save the lives of many more.” Los Angeles County Supervisor Don Knabe The PSA was produced for 211 LA County by JOEY TRAVOLTA’S INCLUSION FILMS which trains and employs students with developmental disabilities for film production work. The Safely Surrender Baby PSA is available in English and Spanish and will begin airing throughout the state soon. The PSA appears leading up to national 211 Day, celebrated on February 11th at The Center at Cathedral Plaza, 555 W. Temple Street, Los Angeles, CA.
