David Serby is a Project Manager for 211 LA County. In his role, David is responsible for overseeing the agency’s Mobility Management Center projects and programs. He leads a team of Mobility Managers that coordinates employment related transportation for Welfare-to-Work participants at three Los Angeles County Office of Education Job Clubs. David manages a $2,000,000 federal transportation grant award, as well as negotiated partnership agreements with LA Metro, Los Angeles County Office of Education, Los Angeles County Department of Public Social Services, and the Antelope Valley Transit Authority.
Serby joined 211 LA County in 2003 as a member of the Resource Department and helped collect and catalogue information on all non-profit, human and social service, and government programs in Los Angeles County. Prior to joining 211 LA County, David worked in freelance writing, insurance, film production and music. He is a graduate of California State University Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.
