Celebrate Free Comic Book Day at the library! Come dressed as your favorite character for a cosplay contest along with other fun activities. Each attendee will receive one free comic book while supplies last!

Enjoy feature films and documentaries every Saturday at the library!  On the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturdays, we’ll show films that explore the world around us.  On the 2nd and 4th Saturdays, enjoy family-friendly feature films.

Dress in your very best and join the Camellia Festival Royal Court for a tea party! The Court will be showcasing their talents and sharing books for all to enjoy. Families are welcomed to take pictures with the Royal Court and enjoy royal themed art activities. For children ages 4 - 12 and their adult parent or caregiver. 

Refreshments will be provided courtesy of the Friends of the Temple City Library.

Join us for a workshop on Bullying Prevention presented by Get Safe.  Over the past 30 years, Get Safe has trained more than 100,000 people in the community!  Learn techniques and tools to raise awareness and be a voice to stop bullying.    

Grades 4-8. Parents are also welcome to attend.

In honor of Cinco de Mayo, come to the Carson Library for a drama film about a Mexican family and the struggles they must overcome to reunite. A mother has left her nine-year-old son behind in Mexico to work as an undocumented immigrant in the U.S., hoping to raise the money she needs to provide for him. But when the boy's grandmother passes away and his aunt and uncle attempt to claim custody over him to seize the money his mother sends back, he embarks on his own journey to America, one filled with hardship and heartbreak.

Rated PG-13. Viewer discretion is advised.
