La Sociedad de Leucemia y Linfoma tiene un Programa de educación sobre cáncer de sangre en español (Traducción en inglés también estará disponible) sin costo.

Esta es una buena oportunidad para los pacientes y familiares que se sienten más cómodos comunicándose en español.

¡Este es un espacio de apoyo para conectarse unos con otros y aprender!

Para la primera mitad, nos enfocaremos en la sangre cánceres: diagnóstico, tratamiento y mitos. La segunda mitad del programa se enfocará en ser su mejor abogado y comunicar las necesidades cuando se trata de cáncer como paciente, cuidador o padre. Aquellos con otros los diagnósticos son bienvenidos para asistir a esta sesión.

Estacionamiento, el desayuno y el almuerzo son gratuitos.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is hosting a no cost Blood Cancer Education Program for Spanish Speakers (English translation will also be available).

This is a good opportunity for patients and family members who are more comfortable communicating in Spanish. 

This is a supportive space to connect with one another and learn! 

For the  first half, we will be focusing on blood cancers—diagnosis, treatment, and myths. The second half of the program will focus on being your best advocate and communicating needs when dealing with cancer as a patient, caregiver, or parent.  Those with other diagnoses are welcome to attend for this session.

engaging programs where you can learn how to manage diabetes. These programs take place in your local area. HSAG offers diabetes education classes as part of the Everyone with Diabetes Counts
program to help you make small lifestyle changes and learn about diabetes and how it affects your health. Have fun with friends and family while learning how to manage diabetes through these free educational classes. Each class lasts two hours, and the entire course is six weeks long, with one class per week.

*Must be a member of Regal, Lakeside, and ADOC, on Medicare, or 65 years or older and attend all six classes to receive a $100 gift card for this workshop listed. Non-members who are on Medicare and 65 years or older are elgible to receive a $40 gift card. Gift card will be given to participants upon completion of all six classes.
