Summit for People with Long-Term T1D

Los Angeles

This conference is for anyone interested in the effects of long-term type 1 diabetes. Much of the research to be presented is derived from studies of 50-year Joslin Medalists. The Joslin Medalist Study has been funded by JDRF, the NIH, and private donations. Study results will be discussed at this meeting by Dr. George King, the principal investigator of the Joslin Medalist Study, Sanjoy Dutta, VP of Research at JDRF, and others. The results are very exciting and positive!

The medalists are providing clues to a long and productive life with T1D through studies of their survival. If you know any people with long-term type 1 diabetes, please have them attend this meeting. Medical professionals and JDRF staff are also welcome. The event is FREE and includes lunch. JDRF awarded an Impact Grant to Chris Stiehl to host this meeting. At the meeting we will be asking you how JDRF can serve you in the future.
