Code Enforcement

211 LA provides information and accepts reports about potential code and zoning violations for residents of the unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County.

Disaster Preparedness & Response

211 LA County partners directly with the Los Angeles County Office of Emergency Management (OEM) as the designated provider of interactive disaster information services to the community before, during, and after disaster events.

Elder Abuse Hotline

Elder Abuse Hotline is a 24-hour assistance program to investigate reports of abuse involving the elderly, ages 65 or older and dependent adults, ages 18 to 64 who have physical and mental impairments.

Homeless Families Coordinated Entry

The Homeless Families Solutions System (HFSS) is a seamless, cooperative system of service delivery for homeless and at-risk families throughout Los Angeles County.

California LifeLine Program

The California LifeLine Program is a state program that provides discounted home phone and cell phone services to eligible households. The California LifeLine discounts help consumers lower the cost of their phone bills.

Low Cost Internet

The California Emerging Technology Fund is a non-profit that was created to help Californians bridge the digital divide and find low-cost broadband Internet access. Having broadband access in the home ensures children have access to the Internet for homework and research.  Searching for employment or applying for public benefits can all be done more efficiently online.

Mobility Management

Mobility management is an innovative approach for managing and delivering coordinated transportation services to customers, including older adults, people with disabilities, and individuals with lower incomes.

Safe Surrender Baby

Safely Surrendered Baby gives parents or guardians the choice to legally and safely surrender their baby at any hospital or fire station in Los Angeles County, no questions asked.

Screening & Care Coordination

211 LA County provides a Developmental Screening and Care Coordination program for children ages 0-5. Staff use the following high quality, web-based tools over the telephone: Parents’ Evaluation of Developmental Status (PEDS), PEDS Developmental Milestones (PEDS:DM), and the Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers (M-CHAT).

Utility Assistance

Utility bill assistance is available through several programs throughout Los Angeles County.  Assistance is usually targeted to residents who are low income.
