Adult Basic Education

The agency provides adult education for adults age 18 and older, emancipated minors and high school students who have parental and school approval who live in the Inglewood area. Services include adult basic education, adult high school diploma programs, adult literacy programs, citizenship education, community adult schools, computer and related technology classes, english as a second language, and vocational education. There are no geographic restrictions for ESL/Citizenship program classes.
Services include specialized classes for seniors age 62 and older. The program also provides limited vocational counseling and placement services.
Vocational classes include cosmetology, computer classes, income tax preparation and office skills. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call or walk in for information. People apply at the site above for all services. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE The only fees are for lab supplies and books. Seniors and people who have disabilities are eligible for a 50% discount on fees.
