The program provides substance use disorder services for adults, age 18 and older, who live in Los Angeles County. Services include drug diversion programs and drug use disorder counseling. There are no geographic restrictions.

211 L A County refers only to this private practice's court, DCFS and probation department approved drug diversion services; it does not refer to private practices for general mental health services.

Drug diversion program is a court approved "deferred plea" program of a 20-week group session that meets once per week. The agency provides sessions in Spanish, English. In addition, the client must attend 20 meetings of a 12-step group; referrals are provided. The program provides notification of client enrollment, attendance record, progress and completion or termination for the court. Counseling may be individual or group. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call or walk in for an appointment. Clients in court-referred programs are required to bring the court order paperwork at the time of intake. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are fixed fees. Counseling fees for qualified low-income individuals are set on a sliding scale that ranges from $10 to $30. ID and proof of low income are required to qualify for sliding scale fees. The deferred plea program fee is $30 per session.
