The agency provides supervised visitation monitoring for families with children age 18 and younger, including those with physical disabilities, in Los Angeles County. Services include adult protective services monitoring for elder abuse victims, parental visitation monitoring and monitored child visitation exchanges. All services are provided in compliance with the California Rules of Court, California Family Code and section 11166 of the California Penal Code. There are no geographic restrictions.

Staff provide monitoring for open visitations, which may take place almost anywhere allowed by the court. On-site, secured visitations are also provided. The goal of the monitor is to protect the rights of the child and ensure a safe, neutral environment for the parent-child interaction. Monitored visits with elder abuse victims and their adult children or relatives is also provided with court referral. These visits may be in the client's home or in a nursing home. Additionally, Skype visits are available and visits on site are in secure location with video cameras in all rooms

Staff can accommodate children in wheelchairs or with other physical disabilities for off-site services. Most monitors are certified in CPR and First Aid.

An individual service plan is developed for each family and is specific court order. Monitors reassure children who are nervous or anxious and set up code words so children can indicate that they want to end the visit or speak privately with the monitor; monitors will determine whether to continue or terminate the visit. Staff are able to provide transportation (car seats are not included) and monitored exchange services. Progress reports are available if requested, for a fee. During Covid the agency provides additional social distancing, every family is away from any other families. There is a Covid 19 form that parents must fill out prior to each visit. The agency takes temperatures when everyone comes in. The agency provides air sanitizers and air purifiers both with UV lights, UV wands, and 99% antibacterial cleaners and furniture sprays,hand sanitizer in all rooms. Everything in the room touched by clients are sanitized before the room is used again. The agency also provide outdoors visits. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call for information or to apply for service. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE Fees are $50 per hour and $10.00 hour for each additional person after the parent and 1 child. Intake is $50.00 each parent. Reports start art $40.00 per report. Exchanges are $30.00 each way.
