The agency provides emergency food to residents of Signal Hill who are age 55 and older. Services include brown bag programs. The service area is restricted to Signal Hill.

The department provides a supplemental emergency food program for low income older adults, age 55 and over, who are residents of Signal Hill. The service is a Brown Bag Food Distribution Program. A bag of groceries including meat, produce and canned and packaged food is available to eligible seniors. Service is once per month. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call for information. Application for the program may be obtained at the Community Services Department in City Hall. ID, proof of income, residency and age are required.

Food pick-up is held in front of the youth center located at 1780 E. Hill Street, Signal Hill, CA 90755. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for service.
