Citizenship Assistance Centers

The program provides immigration services for adults, age 18 and older, in Los Angeles County, who wish to become U S citizens. There are no geographic restrictions.
The citizenship assistance center assists people with completion of INS forms, photos, photocopies, and direct delivery of applications to the INS. In addition, the program provides counseling and classes for citizenship preparation.
Applicants for naturalization and other immigrant benefits can only have their fingerprints taken at INS application support centers or at registered law enforcement agencies. APPLICATION PROCEDURE People may call for information or walk in for services. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are fixed fees for some services. Photos, forms assistance and processing charges vary, based on services. The INS charges an additional fixed rate for the Citizenship Test. There are no charges for counseling or for Citizenship and ESL classes.
