The agency provides government regulatory agency services for individuals in Los Angeles County and throughout the United States. Services include cable television complaints, communications regulation, internet service provider complaints, radio complaints, telephone company complaints, television complaints, and unsolicited advertising opt out assistance. There are no geographic restrictions.

Services include processing applications for licenses and other filings; analyzing complaints; conducting investigations; developing and implementing regulatory programs; and taking part in hearings.

The agency accepts general complaints, as well as complaints about indecent, profane and obscene broadcasts.

Unsolicited advertising opt out assistance is available to individuals who wish to block unsolicited text advertising to wireless devices. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call or visit the agency's website for information. Complaints can be filed electronically, by e-mail, by postal mail or fax. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are various application and regulatory fees.
