Community Action/Social Advocacy Groups

The organization is faith-based community action group that provides support and direction for social programs in the Greater Long Beach, South Bay, Peninsula and West Orange County areas. Services include funding assistance and planning/coordinating/advisory services for community services. There are no geographic restrictions.
Formerly known as the South Coast Ecumenical Council, the group is comprised of member congregations from a diversity of denominations, including most Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Bahai, Buddhist, Unitarian, Kikh, Hindu and other faiths. The groups meet to determine mutual goals; to celebrate each other's religious holidays and to join together to reach social and community goals. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call for information.
