Crime Victim Support ( TANF Recipients, Abused Women )

The agency provides welfare-to-work support services to battered women who receive or are eligible to receive CalWORKs and live primarily in Long Beach and surrounding areas. Services include crime victim accompaniment services, crime victim support, case/care management, individual advocacy, spouse/domestic partner abuse counseling, and welfare rights assistance. There are no geographic restrictions.
Crime victim support services include assistance in obtaining TRO's and transitional services, including food and clothing.
Transportation is provided. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to apply; an appointment is required. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for services.
