The agency provides outpatient mental health services primarily for adults age 18 and older with severe/persistent mental illness that interferes with the individual's ability to function on a daily basis who live in the Los Angeles County portion of the South Antelope Valley. Services include developmental assessment, individual counseling, in person crisis intervention, mental health evaluation, outpatient mental health facilities, perinatal/postpartum depression counseling, psychiatric case management, psychiatric disorder counseling, and psychiatric mobile response teams. There are geographic restrictions.

Treatment includes assessment, brief individual therapy, group therapy, case management, and medication management.

The center also provides services for dually diagnosed consumers with a mental illness and a substance abuse disorder.

The program provides individual and group treatment, and twelve step support groups.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to apply; an appointment is required to be referred for services. Walk in hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 3:00pm.

People who walk in for mental health assessments are seen, if possible. Documentation of financial need includes picture ID, copy of Social Security card, pay stub or public assistance award letter. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE Fees are on a sliding scale beginning at $0; Medi-Cal, Medi-Cal HMO insurance and Medicare are accepted.
