The agency provides disaster related cash grants targeted to grocery store employees working during the Covid-19 pandemic. There are no geographic restrictions.

Eligible grocery store workers in the U.S. can apply and receive $250 in the form of a VISA gift card beginning October 1, 2020. Who is eligible to apply? Current employees of a grocery store or retail store with a grocery department in all 50 United States and the District of Columbia, with a demonstrated need for financial assistance are eligible to apply. When do applications close? Is there a time limit? The application will remain open each month until available resources are exhausted. If the application is temporarily closed, the application website will note this and direct to return to the site to apply beginning on the first day of the next month. What do I need to apply? Proof of employment at a grocery store such as a paystub and a short description of how the Covid-19 pandemic has impacted you financially.
