The university provides post-secondary education including baccalaureate and post-baccalaureate degree programs, for people of all ages. Services include disabled student services; distance education opportunities; an educational opportunity program (see the separate entry) for economically disadvantaged students; Extension services; professional continuing education and life long learning programs for older adults. There are no geographic restrictions.

The college provides a transition program for incoming freshman that provides incoming students an overview of campus life and the assistance they need to successfully complete the transition to college.

Disabled Student Services include accommodated test taking, notetakers, readers and research assistants. A DSS department conducts interviews and assessments for program services.

Cal Poly Pomona's College of the Extended University offers a variety of programs for older adults. Courses are available online and at the university in a variety of fields. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call or walk in for information. Application may also be made online at https://secure.csumentor.edu
