Domestic Violence Hotlines
Provider: ANGEL STEP INN DOMESTIC VIOLENCE EMERGENCY SHELTER
The program provides domestic violence services for battered women, including those with a history of using alcohol and other drugs. Services include domestic violence hotlines, domestic violence shelters and spouse/domestic partner abuse prevention. There are no geographic restrictions.
The 24-hour hotline provides crisis intervention and does intake for the agency's shelter. It also provides information about TRO's and referrals to other programs and services, including long term shelter or transitional housing programs. Service may be provided in English or Spanish on the hotline.
The program provides spousal abuse prevention through community education. Angel Step Inn offers domestic violence, substance abuse, and parenting education groups to shelter residents. Speakers are available for presentations about domestic violence and substance abuse to community and professional groups and schools. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call for information or to schedule an appointment. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for services.
