The facility provides hospital services for people of all ages in Los Angeles County. Services include emergency room care, general medical care, hearing evaluations and other audiology services, hospital-based outpatient services for diabetes, a mental health unit, pain management, and a psychiatric emergency room. There are no geographic restrictions.

This is a general acute-care medical facility that provides inpatient and outpatient services including cardiac care; a catheretization laboratory; pulmonary care; and radiation therapy. Other services include hearing evaluations for people of all ages from any area and hearing aids, or, in the case of Medi-Cal recipients, assistance in obtaining a hearing aid. The audiology department can provide transportation for people who live within five miles of the hospital.

The Outpatient Diabetes Education program includes assessment of self care knowledge and skills, nutritional assessment and dietary analysis and supervised practice sessions on self testing of blood sugar, use of blood glucose monitoring meters, insulin administration and meal planning. APPLICATION PROCEDURE People may call to make an appointment, walk in or be referred for most medical services. An appointment is necessary for blood donor services and can be made by phoning the service intake number. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are fixed fees. Medicare, Medi-Cal and private insurance are accepted.
