English as a Second Language
Provider: WHITTIER UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT - WHITTIER ADULT SCHOOL
The program provides adult education services for adults age 18 and older. Services include adult basic education, citizenship education, community adult schools, computer and related technology classes, english as a second language (ESL) and GED instruction. There are no geographic restrictions.
GED preparation classes review the areas covered on the GED test and familiarize students with the test format.
] Business and office management classes include accounting courses; work processing; typing; Excel; Medical Office, billing and coding; and computer repair. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call or walk in for information about the various classes. Students interested in GED preparation or testing need to bring their high school transcripts. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE Fees for vocational classes vary; there are no fees for other classes.
