The college provides post-secondary education services primarily for residents of Burbank, Glendale, La Crescenta, La Canada/Flintridge and Montrose. Services include adult basic skills, adult literacy programs, computer classes, ESL classes, GED instruction, and vocational education. There are no geographic restrictions.
The college provides academic instruction in general education requirements. Vocational education includes classroom training in computer, clerical and accounting skills. The program varies, but includes a variety of occupational programs. Graduates are referred for additional job training.
The literacy lab provides assistance for people who need a review of English, mathematics, and reading; or who want to earn high school credit; or obtain their GED. The lab operates on an open-entry, open-exit individualized schedule. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call the above number to schedule an appointment. Applicants are tested to evaluate their math and reading skills and are placed in the learning lab or in one of the training programs based on skills level.
