The agency provides counseling services in the form of equine assisted psychotherapy for veterans and their families in Los Angeles County. Service include equestrian therapy. There are no geographic restrictions.
The equine assisted psychotherapy pairs veterans with horses. Under the supervision of a counselor, who is assisted by a equine specialist, they work through a series of exercises to improve communication and collaboration. They do not ride the horses. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to apply or for more information; an appointment is required. Military discharge papers are required. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for services.
