Food Rescue Programs
Provider: ONEGENERATION
The agency is available to participate as a recipient in a food rescue program. Food rescue programs collect unused portions of prepared foods or perishable foods from restaurants, cafeterias, corporate food services, caterers, grocery stores, and special events and deliver food donations directly to agencies (such as crisis shelters, transitional facilities, soup kitchens and homeless shelters) with on-site meal programs. The service area is Canoga Park, Encino, Reseda, Tarzana, Van Nuys, Winnetka, and Woodland Hills.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Call to arrange delivery. The program has a refrigerator/freezer to accommodate donations.

There are no fees.
