The center provides services for older adults, age 50 and older, who live in Culver City and surrounding areas, including Windsor Hills, Baldwin Hills, and View Park. Services include AARP tax aide programs, bereavement support groups, computer classes, congregate meals, driver safety education, field trips/excursions, flu shots, friendly visiting, general health education programs, health fairs, health insurance counseling, home delivered meals, job banks, legal counseling, personal financial management counseling, recreational/leisure/arts instruction, roommate/housemate matching assistance, telephone reassurance and transitional care/case management. There are geographic restrictions for some services.

AARP tax aide program services begin in February and continue through the middle of April. The program provides free federal and state tax preparation for people age 50 and above with income of $40,000 or less. Call for information.

Congregate meals are served Monday through Friday at 11:30am. Meal tickets are available for a suggested donation of $3.00; please call a day in advance between 9:00am and 12:00pm to reserve a meal.

Home delivered meal services delivers hot, nutritious meals to seniors who are homebound and unable to prepare meals on their own. This program is available to fill a temporary need and a donation of $2.25 is suggested. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call or walk in for information or to receive service. An appointment is required for legal services. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There is an annual membership fee of $10. The fee for a parking permit is $5 per year.
