General Paratransit/Community Ride Programs
The agency provides transportation services for residents of South Gate who are 62 and older and individuals with disabilities. Services include general paratransit/community ride programs, disability related transportation and senior ride programs. Geographic restrictions apply.
The program provides curb-to-curb, demand-response para-transit service. ADA compliant vehicles equipped with lifts are available to help passengers who use wheelchairs. Service is provided within South Gate city limits and to 16 medical satellite locations outside of city limits. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call for reservations. They accept same-day reservations and can usually provide service within 20 minutes. Registration is done at the Transit Office located inside the South Gate Sports Center; proof of disability and residence are required. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There is a $10 yearly registration fee; trips are $1 per trip with a limit of 26 one way trips per month.

Intake hours are Monday through Friday, 1:00pm to 7:00pm; the 8th through the 24th of the month. Service hours are Monday through Sunday, 6:00am to 8:00pm.
