The agency provides gift card distribution programs targeted to those affected by Covid-19. Geographic restrictions apply.
Eligible individuals and households must have household incomes that qualify as extremely low. Qualified small business recipients are microbusinesses and very small businesses. Microbusinesses include street vendors, sole proprietors, and independent contractors. Very small businesses consist of mom and pop shops and nonprofit organizations. Debit cards will be distributed by four non-profit organizations who will target the following communities in the First District: unincorporated East Los Angeles, unincorporated San Gabriel Valley communities, unincorporated Walnut Park, and MacArthur Park/Westlake in the City of Los Angeles.

Use of the funds are for rent, mortgage, housing, essential transportation, food, utilities, essential technology, medical care, and childcare.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to apply. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for service.
