Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, the Departments of Consumer and Business Affairs (DCBA) and Workforce Development, Aging and Community Services (WDACS) launched an L.A. County Business and Worker Disaster Help Center, a centralized call center and website providing free, one-on-one counseling and support for business owners and workers who have been adversely affected by the ongoing Coronavirus/COVID-19 emergency.
The call center and website is a single location where individuals can get immediate help, tailored to their situation. Individuals can get assistance from the L.A. County Business and Worker Disaster Help Center in the manner that's most convenient to them.
The call center also offers foreclosure prevention services through dedicated foreclosure counselors to assist property owners and landlords with 15 or fewer units. Assistance includes working with lenders to access forbearance plans, loan modifications, repayment plans, and other programs. Counselors can also assist with filing complaints for violations of various city, state, county, and federal moratoriums.

Beginning Monday, April 27, the Business and Worker Disaster Help Center, operated jointly by DCBA and WDACS, will be open to answer calls Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday, 10:00am to 3:00pm.
