Homebuyer/Home Purchase Counseling ( Low Income )

The program provides housing services for people who live in Los Angeles County. Services include home rehabilitation services, homebuyer/home purchase counseling, low income home loans and mortgage delinquency and default counseling. Some geographic restrictions may apply - check with the agency.

The FasTrack Program focuses on training individuals who are ready to purchase a home. The program provides an intensive eight hour training class. A variety of classes for existing homeowners are also provided.

The full cycle lending program provides loans for home buying, home refinance and home rehabilitation and is available for those who have completed training.

The real estate program includes acquisition rehabilitation and resale; real estate listings and sales; and new construction. The construction program provides specialists who assist homeowners with inspections and work write-ups; construction monitoring; education and counseling; property development; lead abatement and control. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call or walk in for services; appointments are preferred, but not required. Inquiries about the home rehabilitation program may also be emailed to education@nhslacounty.org. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE The program charges a $100 fee for the homebuyer training program.
