The agency provides library services for people in Los Angeles County. Services include adult literacy programs, homework help programs, library services, literacy volunteer opportunities, meeting space, and public internet access sites. There are no geographic restrictions.

The library maintains a collection of books, magazines, foreign language collections, large print materials and media and public access computers that are available to Los Angeles County residents of all ages. An orientation to the library and instruction in its use are also offered. The library has a literacy program, live homework help and meeting rooms are available for use by local groups. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call or walk in for information about library services. People must apply in person for a library card and be able to present valid identification. Applications may also be printed from the library's website. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There is no fee to use the library and to apply for a library card.
