The library provides immigration services for people of all ages in Los Angeles. Services include citizenship assistance centers and immigration visa application filing assistance. All information is confidential. There are no geographic restrictions.

Assistance is provided through the library's New Americans Centers which are located inside six library sites. Welcome stations are set up to offer in-person assistance, study materials and general information and support. Staff can assist with forms and applications, renewals and status adjustments, fee waiver completions and general immigration-related questions.

The library also provides workshops on a variety of topics including guardianship, housing rights, financial stability and small business support. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call the New Americans designated number or walk in to apply; appointments are preferred. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for services.
