The center provides outpatient health services for people of all ages who live in the central Los Angeles area. Services include CHDP, dental care, family planning, mammograms, primary health care, urgent care, family planning, pediatrics and basic immunizations. There are no geographic restrictions.

CHDP provides regular, preventive health assessments and developmental assessments for children from birth to age 21 who are Medi-Cal eligible and for children from birth through age 18 whose family income is less than 200% of the federal poverty level. The check-ups are offered at set intervals and may include the required Head Start or State Preschool and pre-first grade exams.

Dental services include emergency services, examinations, fillings, cleaning and x-rays.

Contraception and reproductive health services are provided. Low-income individuals may qualify for services under the State Family PACT program. People whose income is less than 200% of the Federal Poverty Level are eligible. Services under Family PACT include a complete physical examination, STD testing and treatment, and contraceptive counseling and services. The Family PACT program serves females from 12 to 55 years, and males from 12 to 65 years. Reproductive health services include colposcopy; case specific pregnancy termination; mammography; and pap smears.

The AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) and Pharmacy provides FDA-approved HIV-related drugs at little or no cost to those who are eligible; call for more information. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call for an appointment. Walk in for emergency dental services; line ups start before 7:30am (only the first 15 people are taken each day). FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE Fees for services vary; Medi-Cal and other insurance are accepted. Emergency dental care is $60 per visit. Low-income individuals may apply for a sliding scale.

The appointment line is available Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Clinic hours are Monday and Saturday, 8:00am to 4:30pm; Tuesday through Friday, 8:00am to 8:30pm
