Landlord/Tenant Dispute Resolution ( Disabilities and Health Conditions )

The program provides legal services for people who have disability-related discrimination legal issues. Services include disability rights group, individual advocacy, landlord/tenant dispute resolution, lawyer referral services, public awareness/education, organizational training services, and specialized information and referral. There are no geographic restrictions.

The Litigation Project represents people who have been discriminated against on the basis of disability.

Specialized information and referral is provided about the Americans with Disabilities Act, landlord/tenant rights and responsibilities and other disability-related legal issues. The center makes referrals for people who need legal counseling. It provides a resource center for legal issues related to cancer. It provides information and advocacy assistance on special education for students with learning disabilities. In addition, the center provides speakers for employers, businesses and community groups on the rights of people who have disabilities. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to apply for assistance or to request a speaker. The agency does not accept walk-in appointments. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for service.
