The agency provides public transit services for people in the city of Santa Monica, West Los Angeles, downtown Los Angeles, Los Angeles International Airport, the Metro Green Line Aviation Station, Culver City Line Station and Wilshire/Western Purple Line Station. The agency participates in the countywide reduced fare program Low Income Fare Subsidy Program (LIFE) for students, seniors and disabled people who have appropriate identification cards.

The Big Blue Bus operates 200 buses which are equipped with ramps for people who use wheelchairs. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call the customer service number or visit the agency's website at www.bigbluebus.com for information. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are fixed fees for fares; there is a reduced fare for students, seniors age 62 and older and for people who have disabilities. Exact change is required. Children age 4 and under ride free with a paying adult (limit 2).
