Occasional Emergency Food Assistance

The agency provides emergency food services for people, including homeless individuals, who live in Los Angeles County. Services include formula/baby food and occasional emergency food assistance. Services are restricted to Harbor City, Lomita, San Pedro, Wilmington and the Harbor Gateway residents.
The food pantry provides a three-day supply of groceries which includes canned goods and dried foods. The amount of food varies with family size. Baby formula, baby food and dried milk are available depending on donations. People may receive assistance four times per year. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Walk in to apply. ID for all family members, including birth certificates for all children; proof of residence such as a rent receipt or utility bill; and proof of income are required. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for services.
