The program provides emergency food for families and seniors who are in downtown Los Angeles, including people who are homeless. Services include occasional emergency food assistance, sack lunches/dinners and soup kitchens. Service is restricted to the following zip codes for groceries: 90006, 90007, 90011, 90013, 90014, 90015, 90017, 90021, and 90057, 90220, 90221, 90222, 90223 and 90224; there are no geographic restrictions for the breakfast program.

The program provides a bag of groceries for families and seniors. Food items include canned and dried goods. The program provides groceries for seniors 60 years and older.

The program provides hot breakfast for homeless individuals, single men and single women. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to apply; an appointment is required. For 211 emergency food referrals, call with client's name and number of family members. ID, proof of residence and proof of income are required.

Seniors call for an appointment to register for the bag of groceries; proof of age and proof of residence are required.

Walk in for meals and sack lunches. ID or registration is not required. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for services.
