Organizational Training Services ( Older Adult/Aging Issues )

Provider: DAVIS SCHOOL OF GERONTOLOGY AT THE ANDRUS GERONTOLOGY CENTER

The center provides services for non-profit organizations through a variety of programs which are devoted to the study of aging. Services include organizational consultation/technical assistance, organizational training services and research. There are no geographic restrictions.

The center includes several major operational units: the Gerontology Research Institute, the Leonard Davis School of Gerontology and the Institute for Policy and Program Research. The Gerontology Research Institute focuses on research and research training programs. The Leonard Davis School of Gerontology offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs, as well as non-credit education courses. The Institute for Policy and Program Research assists institutions, government agencies and aging organizations.

The Family Caregiver Support Center assists those who care for adults 18 years and older with dementia or brain impairments, or who are 65 and older and physically frail.

The Fall Prevention Center of Excellence provides the StopFalls.org web site to assist service providers, individuals, families, researchers and educators with fall prevention information.
