Outpatient Drug Detoxification

Provider: CLARE FOUNDATION - MEN'S TREATMENT PROGRAM

The agency provides drug use disorder services for people of all ages. Services include adult diversion, a drop-in center, drug education and prevention, comprehensive outpatient drug and alcohol use disorder treatment, outpatient drug detoxification, twelve-step groups and parenting education services. Services are provided at several sites. There are no geographic restrictions.

The adult diversion program is a voluntary, court-supervised recovery program which provides an alternative to criminal conviction. The program is supervised by a judge from the West District Coordinated Drug Court. Participation is limited to non-violent drug users who have been deemed eligible by prosecutors and court officials. The program involves individual and group counseling, drug testing and 12-step group participation. The program is a three phased recovery program consisting of detoxification, maintenance assistance and employment and vocational/educational training. Charges are dropped for individuals who successfully complete the program.

The Non-Resident Program (NRP) provides comprehesive outpatient alcohol and drug rehabilitation services. Services include individual counseling, twelve step groups, transportation, clothing, drug testing, job preparedness classes and information and referral services. The program is provided at the agency's Clarity Drug Court location.

The program provides parenting education services targeted, but not restricted to, parents recovering from substance abuse problems. The 15 week two hour parenting class meets one time a week, and will run year around. The class is facilitated by a service coordinator, and is available only at the agency's Culver City location. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call the central intake and assessment numbers for information or walk-in for drop-in services. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for most drop-in services; however, there are fees for some twelve-step meetings which are set on a sliding scale. Fees for education and prevention services are set on a sliding scale.
