This agency offers social and recreational activities for youth and adults; summer camp programs for youth; and a Bible study group for adults. It also administers the Salvation Army's San Pedro Family Service Office which offers a variety of emergency services at this site. The agency serves people who live in San Pedro, Wilmington, Harbor City, South Carson, and Lomita.

Social and recreational activities are offered through a number of groups for youth and adults. These groups include the Sunbeam Club for young women age 8 to 12, the Girl Guards for young women age 13 to 17, the Adventure Corps for young men age 8 to 18, the Home League for women age 18 and older, and the Men's Fellowship group for men age 18 and older. The groups for youth participate in a variety of outings, camping trips, sports activities, and social gatherings. Members of the Home League and the Men's Fellowship group participate in a variety of social events, meetings with guest speakers, and recreational activities. During July and August, a number of summer camps are organized for youth and include the Vacation Bible School Camp and a community service camp. A Bible study for adults is offered once a week. APPLICATION PROCEDURE People who are interested in social and recreational activities, the summer camp programs, or the Bible study may phone or walk in to apply.
