The agency provides services for people with developmental disabilities in Los Angeles County. Services include adult day programs, extended day care, family support centers/outreach, independent living skills instruction, recreational activities/sports, roommate/housemate matching assistance, supported employment, supported living facilities for adults with disabilities, and vocational rehabilitation. There are no geographic restrictions.

The family support component includes individualized community integration, camp, adaptive skills (to assist people to join typical groups and organizations in their neighborhood and teach such skills as social interaction), as well as other support services which are meant to help support the family as well as to assist the individual to become integrated into their community.

The day employment program provides individualized and personalized supports to people with developmental disabilities in order to work or have careers in jobs in the community, volunteering, attending school, or trying out different opportunities within their community. These options include supported employment with individual job coaches and/or other forms of support so that people can work in integrated paid employment.

The supported living component provides individualized and personalized supports for individuals to live in their homes/apartments with whatever level or intensity of support that is required for them to be successful. This service provides roommates, live-in support, on-call support, and to get connected in their community and become part of their community. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to schedule an appointment; the agency accepts referrals from the Regional Centers and private clients. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE These are fixed fees for services; fees are paid by the Regional Centers, Rehabilitation, Vocational Rehabilitation, for clients they refer. Rates for private pay are determined upon completed assessments.
