Senior Ride Programs

The agency provides transportation services for residents of the city of Walnut who are 55 years or older or individuals of any age who are disabled. Services include general paratransit/community ride programs. Services are restricted to the city of Walnut and certain approved destinations outside the city.

The Dial-A-Cab program provides transportation to and from anywhere within the city of Walnut or within a five-mile radius of the city limits; all trips must begin or end in the city. Riders are permitted to use this service a total of 12 round trips of 24 one way trips per month.

Discount Foothill Transit passes can be purchased from City Hall at 21201 La Puente Rd. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Individuals must be registered to be able to use Dial-A-Cab services. Proof of residence in the form of a utility bill, proof of age, and proof of disability (if applicable) are required.

Call to schedule a trip. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE The fee for the Walnut Way Dial-A-Cab program is $1 per ride within the city limits and $3 per ride outside the city within 5 miles.
