The agency provides Sexual Assault Services for people of all ages in Los Angeles County. Services include adult sexual assault prevention, child sexual assault prevention, crime victim accompaniment services, crisis intervention, public awareness/education, self defense training, sexual assault counseling, sexual assault/incest support groups, and sexual assault hotlines. There are no geographic restrictions.

Hotline advocates provide immediate telephone crisis support and information. Advocates can advise callers on medical treatment; evidence collection; follow-up care, STDs, or pregnancy; and how to use the criminal justice system to help prosecute the assailant. The hotline also serves children who have been abused and their non-offending family member. Referrals to additional resources are also available. Advocates may also accompany Sexual Assault or Child Abuse survivors to hospital emergency rooms to offer information and support during the physical examination, to court and/or the police station, or their university (if applicable).

Support groups are offered for: Survivors of Sexual Violence, adults molested as children and significant others.

Time-limited counseling is available for adult and child survivors of rape, molestation, incest, child abuse survivors, and their non-offending family members. Counseling is also available for survivors of emotional abuse, neglect and victims of bullying .

Education programs include child abuse awareness, sexual harassment in the workplace and in the schools, internet safety, anti-bullying, affirmative consent, dating violence, and college sexual assault. The self-defense program is provided for women and girls age 12 and older. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call the hotline or office for service; call to apply for other services. FEES/ PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for services.
