The agency provides health services for people of all ages in the Long Beach area. The clinic is an L A County DHS clinic provider. Services include comprehensive health care. Comprehensive health care includes adult care, CHDP examinations, family medicine, HIV/AIDS care, pediatric care, women's care and urgent care. Eligibility screening is available for a wide range of health benefit programs. There are no geographic restrictions.

Contraception and reproductive health services are provided. Low-income individuals may qualify for services under the State Family PACT program. People whose income is less than 200% of the Federal Poverty Level are eligible. Services under Family PACT include a complete physical examination, STD testing and treatment, and contraceptive counseling and services. The Family PACT program serves females from 12 to 55 years, and males from 12 to 65 years. Reproductive health services include colposcopy; case specific pregnancy termination; mammography; and pap smears.

CHDP provides regular, preventive health assessments and developmental assessments for children from birth to age 21 who are Medi-Cal eligible and for children from birth through age 18 whose family income is less than 200% of the federal poverty level. The check-ups are offered at set intervals and may include the required Head Start or State Preschool and pre-first grade exams.

Limited specialty services are available for existing patients with referral from their primary care provider. The clinic also provides CHDP examinations, Family PACT, Cancer Detection Program (CDP). There is on-site Radiology, Pharmacy and Phlebotomy services.

For dental services for new patients a referral from the patient's primary care doctor is required. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call to apply; appointments are preferred. Same-day/walk-in services are available on a first come-first serve basis. New patients generally have their first visit at the same-day/walk-in clinic. Minors are required to have parental consent. People are asked for identification, verification of address and income, and documentation of health coverage, if applicable. FEES/ PAYMENT SOURCE There are fees for most services; L.A. Care, Medi-Cal, and Medicare are accepted. Patients may be eligible for the County's Ability to Pay (ATP) program.
