Spouse/Intimate Partner Abuse Counseling ( Abused Men )

Provider: YWCA OF SAN GABRIEL VALLEY WINGS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PROGRAM

The program provides domestic violence services for men and women who are victims of domestic violence; including lesbians, and individuals who are undocumented, pregnant or who have disabilities and are in the San Gabriel Valley. Services include a domestic violence hotline, counseling, spousal abuse prevention and crime victim support. There are no geographic restrictions.

The hotline provides crisis counseling, information and referral and intake for the agency's domestic violence shelter.

The program provides individual and group counseling. It offers several support groups; individuals may bring their children.

Crime victim support in obtaining a TRO is available through weekly clinics where individuals may obtain necessary forms and be guided through the process. Prevention is provided through public awareness/education presentations that are made to community groups and at high schools. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call the hotline for service or information.
