Story Hour

The agency provides library services for individuals in Los Angeles County. Services include homework help programs, library services, meeting space, public internet access sites, story hour, and volunteer opportunities. There are no geographic restrictions.
Services include loans of books, recordings and DVD's; telephone reference information; homework help center and research assistance.
The library also offers story time sessions for preschool age children and children age five through eight, a summer reading club for youth and a summer Read-To-Me Club for parents and preschool children.
The main branch houses a Whittier History collection. Meeting room space is available for groups. Computers with Internet access are also available. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call or walk in for assistance. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for most services. There are fixed fees for audio visual and meeting room rentals; call for information.
