Provider: SUMMER FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM - LOS ANGELES UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT

The program provides emergency food through the Summer Food Service Program in Los Angeles County, including Los Angeles City parks and recreation centers. Services include lunches and snacks for youth ages 1 through 18 at various sites. The goal of the program is to ensure children receive at least one nutritious and balanced meal per day when school is not in session. The program will operates June through August. People with disabilities 19 years and older can also participate as long as they are enrolled in a school or a private, non-profit formal program. There are no geographic restrictions. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Visit the website for summer food site locations. Walk in for service. ID or registration is not required. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for service.
