Temporary Restraining Orders

The department provides law enforcement services for the city of Bell. Services include abandoned vehicle reporting, crime prevention, emergency protective orders, law enforcement complaints, municipal police, police reports and temporary restraining orders services. The service area is restricted to the city of Bell.
Temporary restraining order assistance is provided on a short term (72 hrs.), emergency basis only. Regular TROs must be applied for at a Superior Court location. APPLICATION PROCEDURE In an emergency, call 9-1-1. Call or walk in for non-emergency services or for information. Report fees: Police Reports, $.10 per page, Traffic Accidents, $2.00 (may vary with size of report), Identity Theft, $2.00. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for most services.
