Volunteer Opportunities ( Veteran/Military Personnel Issues )

The agency provides financial assistance for veterans of the Navy and Marine Corps who are active military, retired military and their families, eligible dependents, orphans and widows. Services include no interest loans, personal financial counseling, expectant/new parent assistance, visiting nurse services, thrift shops, and specialized information and referral. There are no geographic restrictions.
Budgeting information and workshops are available for expectant parents. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Call for an appointment, some offices offer walk-in services. FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE There are no fees for service; thrift shop items are available at a low cost.
