Zika and West Nile are viruses spread when someone is bitten by an infected mosquito, and can be serious for certain populations.
WEST NILE VIRUS INFORMATION:
Who is at risk: People most at risk from West Nile are the elderly or people who are immune compromised with medical conditions.
Symptoms: Some will have mild symptoms similar to the flu, and a few will have severe symptoms like high fever, stiff neck, muscle weakness, and sometimes rash, starting 3-14 days after being infected. If your symptoms are severe, call your doctor right away.

ZIKA VIRUS INFORMATION:
Who is at risk: Pregnant women and women of child-bearing age are most at risk because the Zika virus may cause birth defects in babies, and there is no medicine to treat the disease.
Symptoms: People who are infected may have no or mild symptoms which may include fever, joint pain, rash, red eyes, muscle pain beginning 3-7 days after infection and may last up to one week. See a doctor to get tested if you think you may have Zika virus.
